Stephen Curry set to practice with Warriors on Thursday

Stephen Curry is getting closer to his return to action, after suffering a left foot injury (sprained ligament and bone bruise) on March 16.

Curry was seen taking shots and doing skill work in practice on Wednesday and is expected to scrimmage on Thursday.

“Stephen Curry practiced in full today with the team. They didn’t scrimmage today, but went through shooting drills and skill work.

Steve Kerr says Steph felt good after the workout. He looks on track to scrimmage tomorrow,” Kendra Andrews of ESPN reports.

Stephen Curry missed the last 12 regular season games of the Warriors. His status for Game 1 vs the Denver Nuggets on Saturday still remains unclear.

While speaking to reporters on Tuesday, Kerr described Curry as ‘day-to-day’. For their part, the Nuggets have ruled Facundo Campazzo out for the contest.

The Argentinian guard was suspended one game because of the incident with Wayne Ellington on Sunday’s Lakers-Nuggets game.
