Real Madrid could not add another EuroLeague trophy in their trophy case. Pablo Laso’s team will seek to return to the Final-4 next year. As a result, they’re expected to address their limitations in the guard position.

According to Mundo Deportivo, Sergio Rodriguez will return to Madrid after spending six years away from the club. Rodriguez played with Madrid from 2010 to 2016. With Thomas Heurtel being out of the team’s rotation, Los Blancos will need to add more depth at the guard position.

Apart from Rodriguez, who is expected to leave Milan and join the Spanish giants, Real will hope to sign Pierria Henry, who is playing for Fenerbahce. Fenerbahce finished their season in EuroLeague in a disappointing note and Henry could leave Istanbul.

Madrid will need to agree with Baskonia, which holds the player’s rights in Spain. Nigel William-Goss will likely remain with the club for at least one more season, and that will be the lineup of Real’s point guard rotation next year.

Goss was injured during the semifinal of the EuroLeague Final-4, but his latest performances won him a place in the team’s roster. Shane Larkin was also one of the potential targets, but the price went up since Efes repeated as EuroLeague champions.
