Real Madrid head coach Pablo Laso hospitalized after heart attack

Real Madrid announced on Sunday that head coach Pablo Laso has been hospitalized after suffering a heart attack.

The veteran coach suffered a myocardial infarction and is undergoing medical tests at Sanitas La Moraleja University Hospital. There is still no further update on his condition.

Pablo Laso coached Real Madrid in Game 2 of the ACB semi-finals vs Baskonia on Saturday, in a game where Jaycee Carroll announced his retirement from basketball. Laso has been coaching the “Whites” since 2011 and has won a total of 22 titles.
