The Golden State Warriors dominated the Boston Celtics in Game 2 (88-107) and evened the NBA Finals (1-1).
After a hard-fought battle in the first half (52-54), the Warriors took over. Golden State crushed Boston on both ends and went on a 14-35 run to close the third quarter in front by 23 (66-89). The Celtics never recovered and suffered a blowout road loss.
Stephen Curry led five Warriors players in double digits with a game-high 29 points, on 9/21 shooting. On the other hand, Jayson Tatum had 28 points for the losing squad, on 6/9 from beyond the arc.
With the series tied, Games 3 and 4 will take place in Boston on Wednesday and Friday. Golden State will aim to re-claim the home-court advantage, while the Celtics will seek to protect their home court.
