Anthony Randolph set to undergo knee surgery after ACL rupture

Anthony Randolph will miss several months of action after getting injured in Game 1 of the ACB Finals.

The American big man suffered the injury in the second quarter, as Real Madrid cruised to an easy win over Barcelona (75-88).

As the “Whites” officially announced on Tuesday, Anthony Randolph suffered a complete rupture of the anterior cruciate ligament in his left knee and will undergo surgery in the coming days.

The big man of Real Madrid averaged 5.4 points and 2.4 rebounds in 20 ACB games. The “Whites” need two more wins to claim the ACB title. Game 2 is on Wednesday.
