Brandon Davies has bid farewell to FC Barcelona after three seasons. The veteran center issued a message to the club and its fans to said goodbye and move to the next chapter of his career.
“I have spent three wonderful years in Barcelona. I have always tried to be honest and professional with my work, with hits and misses, but always professional,” Davies said in his message.
“Thank you, Barça, thank you, Barcelona, and thank you to everyone who has crossed my path and always helped me, especially my teammates! The friendships I have made and the trophies I have won are undeniable!”
Davies appeared in 36 games the past season in the EuroLeague and averaged 9.9 points, 3.7 rebounds and 1.6 assists per contest. He was the starting center for the Spanish giants, who finished with the best record in the regular season.
Davies help the team reach the Final-4, which took place in Belgrade, but the Catalans fell short in the semifinal against Real Madrid. The same happened in the ACB Finals where Barca’s arch-rivals, Real Madrid, beat (3-1) the Catalans.
