During his exit interview in mid-April, Nunn had already confirmed he would remain with the franchise after a disappointing season.
Because of a right knee injury (lingering bone bruise), Kendrick Nunn missed the entire 2021/22 season. For their part, the 17-time NBA champions finished 11th in the West and failed to reach the playoffs.
With Darvin Ham as the new head coach, though, the Lakers aim to return to title contention and view the 26-year-old guard as an important part of the roster.
