The Orlando Magic have officially selected Paolo Banchero with the No.1 pick of the 2022 NBA Draft, which takes place at Barclays Center.
Banchero was expected to be the No.3 pick of the Draft and join the Houston Rockets, yet he eventually became a member of the Magic.
Paolo Banchero is coming off an excellent season with Duke, averaging 17.2 points, 7.8 rebounds, 3.2 assists and 1.1 steals.

Chet Holmgren of Gonzaga (14.1 points, 9.9 rebounds) was selected with the No.2 pick by the Oklahoma City Thunder.
Jabari Smith II, who was set to be the No.1, will eventually join the Rockets as the No.3 pick of the NBA Draft.
