Pierria Henry parts ways with Fenerbahce

Pierria Henry took to social media and announced his decision to part ways with Fenerbahce after just one season with the team.

The American guard leaves the Turkish powerhouse and will now search for his next team, either in the EuroLeague or the NBA.

Henry has already attracted interest from EuroLeague clubs, including Real Madrid. At the same time, he will take part in the mini-camp that the Washington Wizards will host this weekend.

The 29-year-old guard had 7.9 rebounds, 4.2 assists, 3.4 rebounds and 1.8 steals in the EuroLeague, where Fenerbahce missed the playoffs for the first time after eight years.

At the same time, he averaged 8.5 points, 5.9 assists, 2.7 boards and 1.7 steals in the Turkish League, where his team claimed the title a few days ago.

For its part, Fenerbahce has found Henry’s replacement and will sign star guard Scottie Wilbekin, who will leave Maccabi Tel-Aviv after four years.
