After leading ASVEL Villeurbanne to the third straight French League title, Elie Okobo is set to leave the team and join Monaco.
This is what Donatas Urbonas of Basketnews reports, adding that the 24-year-old guard prefers to remain in the EuroLeague instead of moving to the NBA.
Okobo has already attracted interest from several EuroLeague teams, however it seems the Monegasques will eventually sign him.

The French guard was one of the best players of ASVEL in the EuroLeague, averaging 14.5 points and 3.9 assists.
His last game with ASVEL was Game 5 of the French League Finals against his – likely new –Â team, Monaco, with Villeurbanne earning the 84-82 overtime win and claiming the championship. Okobo had 20 points, 9 assists and 7 rebounds in the contest.
