Clippers to sign Ivica Zubac to three-year contract extension

The Los Angeles Clippers have decided to keep Ivica Zubac to the roster and offer him a contract extension. And according to Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN, the Croatian big man will remain with the team long-term.

The franchise decided to decline the team option for the 2022/23 season, worth $7.5M, and agree to a new, three-year deal with Zubac, worth a total of $33M.

Ivica Zubac is coming off the best season of his career, averaging career bests of 10.3 points and 8.5 rebounds.

The Clippers are also set to sign former All-Star John Wall, as they aim to return to title contention next season with Kawhi Leonard and Paul George healthy.
