Jae Crowder and TJ Warren have emerged as candidates to replace PJ Tucker, if the latter doesn’t re-sign with the Miami Heat.

Tucker has decided to decline his player option, worth $7.4M, and hit free agency, with the Philadelphia 76ers being frontrunners to sign him.

“Should the Heat lose out on Tucker, the team, according to an NBA source, is considering either a trade for former Heat power forward Jae Crowder, who is entering the final year of a contract that pays $10.2 million next season with the Phoenix Suns, or a possible free-agent move for Indiana Pacers forward T.J. Warren,” Ira Winderman of the South Florida Sun-Sentinel reports.

Crowder, who has played for Miami before, can join the team only via a trade. On the other hand, Warren is an unrestricted free agent.
