3 top NBA teams have emerged as candidates to land Danilo Gallinari, who joined the San Antonio Spurs via trade from the Atlanta Hawks.
San Antonio is not expected to keep Gallinari and a buyout between the two sides remains as the sole option.
When that happens, the Italian forward will become a free agent and will seek his next team. The Chicago Bulls, Miami Heat and Boston Celtics are considered the favorites to sign him.
“Great shot for Danilo who secured 11.6 mil and will soon be free. Boston Chicago and Miami the main suitors,” NBA insider Zeno Pisani tweeted.
Danilo Gallinari, a 14-year NBA veteran, is coming off a mediocre season with the Hawks, where he averaged just 11.7 points, his lowest scoring output since his rookie year.
