Bradley Beal has agreed to a supermax contract with the Washington Wizards and will return to the team after declining his player option.

According to Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN, the deal is for five years, worth a total of 254M. The superstar guard decided to opt out of his contract in order to negotiate a max deal with Washington.

Bradley Beal now has his sights set on leading the Wizards back to the playoffs. Last season, he appeared in only 40 games and averaged 23.2 points, 4.7 rebounds and 6.6 assists.

Washington went 35-47 and missed the postseason for a third time in the last four years. To help add more depth to the roster, the team traded Kentavious Caldwell-Pope and Ish Smith to the Denver Nuggets in exchange for Monte Morris and Will Barton.
