Dejounte Murray joins Hawks via trade from Spurs

All-Star guard Dejounte Murray has officially joined the Atlanta Hawks, via a trade from the San Antonio Spurs. As part of the trade, the Spurs will receive three first-round picks and a pick swap.

By trading for Murray, Atlanta has just made a major upgrade in its backcourt, which will  feature two All-Star guards in Murray and Trae Young.

As Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN reports, the Hawks are sending a 2023 first-round pick via Charlotte as well as their own 2025 and 2027 first-round picks to the Spurs as part of the deal. San Antonio will also receive a pick swap in 2026.
