Devin Booker and the Phoenix Suns are finalizing a supermax contract extension that will keep the superstar guard in the team long-term.
According to Shams Charania of The Athletic, the deal between the two sides will be for four years, worth a total of $214M. He is expected to sign it next week.
Devin Booker has been the undisputed leader of the Suns and has his sights set on leading Phoenix to the NBA championship.
The All-Star guard led the Suns to the 2021 NBA Finals. A year later, his team got eliminated by the Dallas Mavericks in Game 7 of the Western Conference semi-finals (3-4). Last season, Booker averaged 26.8 points, 5 rebounds and 4.8 assists in 68 games.
