James Harden and the Philadelphia 76ers will meet on the weekend to discuss a new deal that will keep the superstar guard to the team.
Harden declined his player option, worth $47.4M, in order to negotiate a new deal with the franchise that will enable the Sixers to have more cap flexibility.
It is still unknown what the Sixers’ offer will be, but James Harden wants the deal to be beneficial to both sides. The superstar guard knows that only if they bolster their roster, they will be able to fight for the championship.
Earlier tonight, Philadelphia signed Harden’s former teammate, PJ Tucker, to a three-year, $33.2M deal.
