Serge Ibaka has agreed to an one-year deal with the Milwaukee Bucks, Shams Charania of The Athletic reports.

The veteran big man returns to the team for his second season. Ibaka joined the Bucks via a trade from the Los Angeles Clippers on February 10.

He had a minimal role with the squad and appeared in 19 games, averaging 7.0 points and 5.3 rebounds, on 51.9% from the field and 35.1% from beyond the arc.

In the playoffs, he played only a few games and didn’t have any playing time in any of the team’s last five games against the Boston Celtics in the Eastern Conference semifinals.

The Bucks aim to keep their core together for another season and return to title contention and have already signed big man Bobby Portis to a four-year, $49 million contract extension.
