After losing Austin Hollins and with Nikola Kalinic likely to leave for the ACB, Crvena Zveda has started bringing reinforcements for next season in ABA and the EuroLeague.

Confirming prior reports, Nemanja Nedovic has officially joined the Serbians and has signed a three-year deal with the club.

Nedović started his professional career in Zvezda, for which he played from 2008 to 2012. He then went to play for Lietuvos Ritas, then had a short stint in Golden State, before returning to Europe for Valencia.

In Spain, he also played for Unicaja, and then Milan followed where he was a member of Olimpia for two seasons, before joining Panathinaikos in 2020. Last season in the Euroleague, he averaged 14.3 points, 3.2 assists and 2.2 rebounds per game.

He was also a member of the Serbian national team that won a silver medal at the Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro. Nedovic has an option in his contract with Panathinaikos, but he will more likely opt out to join Zvezda.

Zvezda has already seen two key players in Austin Hollins and Dejan Davidovac leaving the team, while head coach Dejan Radonjic also opted to leave and take over Panathinaikos’ bench last week. As of now, the Serbian team has not made a move to hire a new coach.
