Damian Lillard, Blazers agree to two-year supermax extension

Damian Lillard and the Portland Trail Blazers have agreed to a two-year supermax contract extension. This is what Bobby Marks of ESPN reports, adding that the new deal is worth $122M.

Under the new contract, Damian Lillard will remain with the Blazers until 2026, with the final season (2026/27) being a player option.

The superstar guard appeared in only 29 games last year after a season-ending abdominal surgery. He averaged 24 points and 7.3 assists in 36.4 minutes on the floor.

Portland aims to return to playoff contention next year. The franchise has already added Gary Payton II and Jerami Grant to the roster, while re-signing Anfernee Simmons and Jusuf Nurkic.
