Dante Exum officially joining Partizan Belgrade

Dante Exum has officially joined EuroLeague returnee Partizan Belgrade, the team announced Sunday. Exum, 26, spent most of the previous season at FC Barcelona and helped the team reach the EuroLeague Final-4.

After playing in 262 NBA games with the Utah Jazz and the Cleveland Cavaliers, the Australian guard joined FC Barcelona in December and produced 6.3 points, 2.5 rebounds, 1.6 assists, 0.5 steals, and 0.3 blocks per contest.

He appeared in 25 games for Barcelona and became a rotational option under the guidance of Sarunas Jasikevicius. Exum averaged 9.0 points, 3.6 rebounds and 1.4 assists in the domestic level and helped Barcelon reach the ACB Finals.

He has been representing Australia in major FIBA tournaments since his senior debut in 2013. Last summer, he was a key part of the squad capturing the 2020 Olympic Games bronze medals in Tokyo.

Partizan is set to return to EuroLeague after a nine-year break. They have already added forward Danilo Andjusic, who inked a two-year deal to return to the Serbian powerhouse.
