Myles Turner wants to part ways with the Indiana Pacers and would be open to playing fοr the Los Angeles Lakers.
This is what Sean Deveney of Heavy.com reports, adding that Turner would expect to leave the Pacers back in the February trade deadline instead of Domanta Sabonis.
“Turner, for his part, has been open to a trade out of Indiana going back two years, and he was expecting to be dealt at last season’s deadline instead of [Domantas] Sabonis.
A source with knowledge of the situation told Heavy.com, ‘Of course he would be open to a trade to the Lakers,'” Deveney reports.
At the moment, the Lakers have their sights set on trading for Kyrie Irving, but some team executives would prefer a trade for Myles Turner or his teammate Buddy Hield.
