Malcolm Brogdon ready to embrace 6th man role to win with Celtics

Malcolm Brogdon joined the Boston Celtics from the Indiana Pacers and has his sights set on winning the NBA championship.

Brogdon knows he will come off the bench for the Celtics and Boston views him as a sixth man. The 29-year-old guard is in a win-now mode and ready to embrace his role.

“I really want to get back to winning on a high level, I want to win a championship. So whatever I can sacrifice to get back to that championship level, I’m willing to do it,” Brogdon told Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN, via Chris Forsberg of NBC Sports Boston.

Brogdon spent the previous season with the Pacers, averaging 19.1 points, 5.2 rebounds and 5.9 assists in just 36 games.
