Ben Bentil, Milan parting ways

Ben Bentil and Olimpia Milan are parting ways, the EuroLeague powerhouse announced Thursday. Bentil spent the past season in Milan and appeared in 23 EuroLeague games as the club made its way to the EuroLeague playoffs.

He was acquired during the previous season from Bahcesehir Istanbul. He averaged 5.0 points, 2.4 rebounds, and 0.5 assists. The 27-year-old also spent two seasons with Panathinaikos prior joining Bahcesehir and Milan.

Bentil has also played for Bilbao Basket in ACB and Peristeri Athens in Greek Basket League. Bentil became the 7th player to leave the team this offseason, with the most notable departures being Malcolm Delaney and Sergio Rodriguez.

As of now, the Italian powerhouse added four players in Naz Mitrou-Long, Billy Baron, Brandon Davies and Stefano Tonut.
