Keegan Murray put together another great performance for the Sacramento Kings during the NBA Summer League despite the loss to Chet Holmgren and the OKC Thunder. Murray outplayed another top-3 overall pick in the Summer League.

The Kings’ forward scored 29 points on 9-of-17 shooting, grabbed seven rebounds and added four steals in the defensive end. On the other side, Holmgren showed his potential with eight points, five rebounds, five steals and three assists.

Murray seems to be the most NBA-ready player alongside Paolo Banchero, who needed only two games for the Orlando Magic to shut him down in the Las Vegas Summer League. The Kings enjoyed a strong start and grabbed the lead in the first quarter, 19-15.

But OKC answered with a strong second quarter to take the advantage and eventually win the game. Murray will certainly have ups and downs in his rookie season as the NBA is a different story with veteran players and superstars in the game.

But, the Iowa State product showed he can contribute to winning right away as the Kings will try to put away a 16-year playoff drought. Murray will play alongside De’Aaron Fox and Domantas Sabonis as Sacramento hopes the three of them can lead them back to the playoffs.
