Lithuania has officially named the 16-man preliminary roster for the upcoming FIBA EuroBasket (September 1-18).
NBA star big men Domanta Sabonis and Jonas Valanciunas headline the roster, which includes several EuroLeague players.

Lithuania will play a few preparation games before facing Hungary and Montenegro (August 24 and 27 respectively) for the second round of the Basketball World Cup Qualifiers.
They will then travel to Cologne for the group stage in late August. The Lithuanians will take on France, Slovenia, Germany, Bosnia and Herzegovina and Hungary in Group B.
