Monaco has officially signed star guard Elie Okobo to a two-year deal, the club announced on Friday. The deal will keep Okobo to the team until the end of the 2023/24 season.
The 24-year old guard spent the previous season with ASVEL Villeurbanne, where he averaged 14.5 points, 2.8 rebounds and 3.9 assists in 27 EuroLeague games.
He also led ASVEL to the French League title, after defeating Monaco in the Finals (3-2). On Thursday, the Monegasques extended Mike James’ contract for two years.
