Olympiacos and Livio Jean-Charles will continue in separate ways after two seasons together. Mostly used as a back-up forward/center Jean-Charles did not see extended time in the court last season.
“Thank you for your loyalty, hard work, and dedication to the Olympiacos organization! Wishing you all the best in your future endeavor,” the club wrote in the official announcement.
He averaged 3.8 points on 61.5 percent from the field and 2.2 rebounds per contest in the EuroLeague. Jean-Charles, 28, is headed back to French side ASVEL for his fourth stint, according to a report by L’Equipe.
He started his career with the French giants and stayed with them for five seasons between 2011 and 2016. Jean-Charles spent the next two seasons between the G League and ASVEL before returning to Europe with Unicaja Malaga in 2018.
