Donta Hall, AS Monaco renew ties with three-year extension

AS Monaco agreed to a three-year extension with high-flying big man Donta Hall, the Monegasques announced on Monday. That’s another huge move for Monaco, who also kept Mike James and head coach Sasa Obradovic in the team.

Hall was a huge part of the team’s success last season. He appeared in his first EuroLeague campaign with dominant averages of 8.3 points, 5.1 rebounds and 1.1 blocks per contest and help the Roca Team to reach the postseason in his first appearance in the EuroLeague.

Hall went undrafted after graduating from the University of Alabama in 2019. ounced through three different NBA teams and their G League affiliates over a couple of years before coming in Europe.

Hall has NBA career averages of 5.1 points and 4.5 rebounds throughout 22 appearances with the Detroit Pistons, Brooklyn Nets, and Orlando Magic. He mostly appeared in G League averaging more than 8 rebounds and 10 points in two consecutive campaigns.

Monaco is expected to have a great team in place for the 2022-23 season after overachieving last season. The Roca Team has signed Elie Okobo, Jordan Loyd, and John Brown III so far this offseason.
