Crvena Zvezda signs Ben Bentil

After adding Filip Petrusev, Crvena Zvezda bolsters its frontcourt even more with Ben Bentil, who parted ways with Milan recently. The news were officially announced by the Serbian powerhouse on Wednesday night.

He spent almost one season with the Italian squad winning the Italian Cup and Italian championship this past season. Bentil,27, averaged 5.4 points, 2.3 rebounds, and 4.3 PIR through 24 EuroLeague games this past season.

Milan acquired Bentil mid-season from Bahcesehir Istanbul. Prior to the Turkish club, Bentil spent two seasons with Greek powerhouse Panathinaikos. Bentil was the No. 51 pick in the 2016 NBA Draft. He has also played for Peristeri, Bilbao, and Chalons-Reims.

He went through the NBA G-League, Chinese League, and NBA with the Dallas Mavericks. Bentil will be the sixth signing for Zvezda after Nemanja Nedovic, Hasan Martin, John Holland, Dalibor Ilic and Filip Petrusev.
