NBA rumors: Heat prioritize a Kevin Durant trade over Donovan Mitchell

The Miami Heat are still having their sights set on landing Kevin Durant or Donovan Mitchell this offseason.

According to Jake Fischer of Bleacher Report, the Heat prioritize a trade for the two-time NBA champion over the Jazz’s superstar.

“The Miami Heat remain focused on acquiring one of those aforementioned All-Stars, and multiple sources with knowledge of the situation told B/R that Miami has prioritized pursuing Durant over Mitchell,” Fischer reports.

So far, Miami has seen no progress in talks with the Brooklyn Nets and the Jazz, with both franchises having high trade demands.

Durant stil has four years and $194,2M left on his contract, while Mitchell has four years and $134,8M in his current contract.
