Darius Garland is very optimistic about the Cleveland Cavaliers and the possibility of having a deep playoff run next season.
The young guard expects his team to improve its performance on both ends and is confident the Cavs can reach the Eastern Conference Finals.
“I think we can get even better. I think we can make it to the Eastern Conference Finals next year for sure. We’re coming back with a chip on our shoulder.
We’re a young team. Like you said, we battled through a lot of adversity this season. So, it was cool just being there, but we not satisfied. We all in. We all ready to rock and roll,” Garland said, via Jonathan Sherman of Cavaliers Nation.
Last season, Cleveland came close to its return to the postseason, but got eliminated in the play-in tournament. For his part, Darius Garland had a breakout year, averaging 21.7 points, 3.3 rebounds and 8.6 assists.
Recently, Garland signed a massive five-year, $193 million extension with the Cavs that will keep him with the team through 2028.
