Danilo Andjusic returned to Partizan Belgrade this summer, and he’s setting high goals ahead of the 2022-23 season. The Belgrade-based team has made several significant moves as they’re preparing for their return to the EuroLeague.

The Serbian guard that made playoffs in the EuroLeague the past season with Monaco, revealed his goals and expectations with the Serbian powerhouse next season in the top European club competition.

“The team seems to be moving in the right direction, considering the signings that have been made,” said the veteran player in an interview with Serbian media outlet mondo.rs (h/t Basketnews.com).

“We are talking about great names, but we have to become a team.We can create a team that will fight for the playoffs of the EuroLeague. There is no need to lie,” he continued.

Partizan added players with plenty of experience in the EuroLeague and the NBA with their biggest signing being guard Dante Exum, who came off Barcelona to assume a starting role under coach Zeljiko Obradovic.

“We have players with EuroLeague and NBA experience. That’s exactly what was missing last year,” stated Andjusic. “We will be dangerous for any opponent.”

Partizan added James Nunnaly, Ioannis Papapetrou and Dante Exum along with Danilo Andjusic this offseason. They have every right to be optimistic ahead of the 2022-2023 EuroLeague season.
