Turkey names 24-man preliminary roster for FIBA EuroBasket

Turkey has officially announced its 24-man preliminary roster for the upcoming FIBA EuroBasket (September 1-18).

NBA players Alperen Sengun, Cedi Osman, Omer Yurtseven and Furkan Korkmaz headline the roster, which also includes EuroLeague stars Shane Larkin, Scottie Wilbekin and Sertac Sanli.

Here are the 24 players that will participate in the team’s training camp:

After the end of its training camp, Turkey will face Latvia on the road on August 25 and will then host Serbia on August 28 in the Second Round of FIBA Basketball World Cup Qualifiers.

They will then travel to Tbilisi for the group stage of the EuroBasket. They will take on Montenegro, Georgia, Spain, Bulgaria and Belgium in Group A.
