Panathinaikos signs guard Giorgos Kalaitzakis to two-year deal

Panathinaikos has officially announced the addition of guard Georgios Kalaitzakis for the next two years.

The young guard returns to the “Greens” after an one-year absence. Kalaitzakis spent the previous season in the NBA, playing for the Milwaukee Bucks and the Oklahoma City Thunder.

The 23-year-old guard will reunite with his brother, Panagiotis, who recently signed a three-year contract with the six-time EuroLeague champions.

Giorgos Kalaitzakis becomes the eighth signing of Panathinaikos this offseason, after Paris Lee, Panagiotis Kalaitzakis, Arturas Gudaitis, Marius Grigonis, Nate Wolters, Andrew Andrews and Derrick Williams.
