Jayson Tatum addressed the rumors that linked the Boston Celtics to a trade for two-time NBA champion Kevin Durant.
The superstar guard/forward said he is happy with the current Boston roster and noted that he doesn’t pay attention to everything he sees on TV.
“I don’t believe everything I see on TV. I’ve seen some (expletive) about me that was a lie. You never really know what is true and what’s not true,” Jayson Tatum said of the Celtics reportedly offering Jaylen Brown in the trade package for Kevin Durant, via Mass Live.

Tatum doesn’t seem to be a big fan of the Celtics trading for Durant and breaking up their core. Boston offered a package centered around Jaylen Brown to the Nets, but Brooklyn rejected the offer and asked for more.
The Celtics have the assets to trade for Kevin Durant, but it remains to be seen if they are willing to go all the way for the NBA superstar.
