Panathinaikos signed back up guard Lefteris Bochoridis to a one-year contract extension, the Greek giants announced. Bochoridis is just the third player, who officially remains from last season’s roster.
The Greek guard played for the Greens for the first time between 2014 and 2017, while after his tenure with Aris (2017-20), he returned to the Greek Giants. He started his professional career with Aris paying between 2010 and 2014.

In the previous two seasons (2020-22), he played 49 games with Pana in EuroLeague. He has averages of 3.0 points, 1.5 assists and 1.2 rebounds in the upper competition of the European basketball scene.
“I’m very happy that I stayed with Panathinaikos,” Bochoridis said. “I’ve been with the team for many years and I’ve bonded with it. I believe that with hard work, we can build something good and give joy to the fans. For my part, I will do my best to justify the trust the club showed me”.
