Vesely, Satoransky headline the Czech Republic roster ahead of EuroBasket 2022

Preparing for upcoming international fixtures, Czech Basketball Federation released the list of 15 players they will participate in the August FIBA Basketball World Cup qualifiers and the 2022 EuroBasket.

FC Barcelona’s star tandrum of Jan Vesely and Tomas Satoransky highlight the roster, while OKC Thunder forward Vit Krejci is among the call-ups. The 22-year-old made his debut with the national team in the 2019 FIBA World Cup Qualifiers.

Czech Republic’s 15-man roster:

Patrik Auda (Yokohama B-Corsairs), Ondrej Balvin (Prometey), Jaromir Bohacik (Brose Bamberg), Vojtech Hruban (London Lions), David Jelinek (UCAM Murcia), Vit Krejci (Oklahoma City Thunder), Martin Kriz (ERA Nymburk), Tomas Kyzlink (Brose Bamberg)

Hosting Group D of the preliminary round of EuroBasket will include games versus Poland, Serbia, the Netherlands, Finland, and Israel between 2-8 September. Prior to that, the team will face France and Hungary for the FIBA WCQ.
