Gora Camara became the latest addition to Virtus Bologna’s roster, the 2022 LBA finalists announced earlier. Camara was on loan the last three seasons after making his senior debut with Bologna during the 2018-19 season.
Coming up in the top-tier division of Italy, he averaged 2.0 points and 2.1 rebounds per contest over 27 appearances for VL. He was also part of the BCL championship squad in Bologna during the 2018-19 season.

Last season with Pesaro, Camara averaged 2.8 points and 2.5 rebounds per game in the Italian league. He also played for Junior Casale between 2019 and 2021 before joining Pesaro last season.
Camara is the sixth offseason signing for Virtus Bologna, who will return to the EuroLeague after 14 years. The Italian giants have already added Ismael Bako, Gabriel Iffe Lundberg, Leo Menalo, Jordan Mickey, and Semi Ojeleye this summer.
