Nemanja Nedovic happy for Serbia NT return after six years

Nemanja Nedovic will return with Serbia on an international tournament after six years and the Crvena Zvezda guard shared his thoughts on the matter. The Serbian national team is preparing to participate in the FIBA World Cup Qualifiers and the EuroBasket.

“It’s a nice feeling, I wanted to play national basketball. The last time I was in Rio in 2016, then due to various unfortunate circumstances I could not be in the team,” Nedovic said on his return.

Nedovic will once again play under coach Svetislav Pesic, his first time since 2012 when the guard played for Crvena Zvezda, in which he returned this summer after a successful stint with Panathinaikos.

“Before, he was very harsh, strict. Now he is more flexible, moodier. And he is aware that these are all players who have been playing at the top level for many years,” on Serbia’s head coach Svetislav Pesic.
