Goran Dragic recently played for Slovenia in the finale of the First Round of the Basketball World Cup Qualifiers, helping the national team advance to the Second Round.
The addition of Goran Dagic to the roster further bolsters the team’s chances to successfully defend its EuroBasket title, placing the squad among the grand favorites for the gold medal.
The Slovenians have already started preparing for September’s tournament (1-18). Superstar guard Luka Doncic is set to join the training camp within the next couple of weeks.
Slovenia will travel to Cologne in late August and will take on Lithuania, Hungary, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Germany, and France in the group stage of the EuroBasket (Group B).
