Miami Heat should send Bam Adebayo to Utah Jazz if they want to land Donovan Mitchell

The Miami Heat should send Bam Adebayo to the Utah Jazz if they want to trade for superstar guard Donovan Mitchell.

The Eastern Conference powerhouse aims to bolster its roster with another superstar, but the Jazz have high trade demands.

According to Michael Scotto of HoopsHype, the Heat have no intention to include Adebayo to any trade package, so a trade for Mitchell is not likely to happen soon.

“I don’t see Miami having the assets to get it done without parting with Bam Adebayo, which I haven’t gotten the sense they want to do,” Scotto said on a recent episode of the Hoops Hype Podcast, via Jonathan Sherman of Heat Nation.

Bam Adebayo was one of the best Miami players last season, averaging 19.1 points and 10.1 rebounds and helping the Heat reach the Eastern Conference Finals for the second time in three years.

The young star big man has four years and $134,85M left on his current contract with the Heat, which expires in the summer of 2026.
