Usman Garuba could be out for Spain in 2022 FIBA EuroBasket

Usman Garuba could be unavailable for Spain in the upcoming FIBA EuroBasket in September (1-18).

The Spanish big man of the Houston Rockets got injured in the NBA Summer League in mid-July and remains doubtful for the tournament.

Garuba joined the training camp of Spain on Sunday and his condition will be monitored on a daily basis.

The young big man is part of the 16-man preliminary roster for the Basketball World Cup Qualifiers and FIBA EuroBasket.
