Bayern Munich star Vladimir Lucic decided to remain with the Bavarian club long-term and signed a three-year contract extension.
However, he revealed that he received interest from four teams before eventually re-signing with the Bavarians.
“I had offers from Efes, Fenerbahce, Zenit, and Armani Milan. No one contacted me directly. I believe they did not expect me to renew with Bayern Munich at that time,” Vladimir Lucic said in an interview with SportKlub.
Lucic was one of the best Bayern players last season, helping the Bavarians reach the EuroLeague playoffs, while also making the All-EuroLeague Second Team.
Now, he is a member of Serbia’s preliminary roster, which is preparing for the upcoming EuroBasket (September 1-18).
