Nemanja Bjelica took to social media and bid farewell to the Golden State Warriors, while sharing his excitement about joining Fenerbahce.
The Serbian forward spent the previous season with the Warriors and won the 2022 NBA championship. However, he decided to leave San Francisco and return to Europe, signing a two-year deal with the Turkish powerhouse.
“Thank you to the Warriors, the 2022 NBA champions. To the best fans and everyone who supported us and pushed us all season until the end, thank you. To this amazing organization that believed in me and let me be a part of this legendary group of players, my brothers.
To all of you, for this unforgettable experience with which I close my chapter in the NBA, thank you. I will always remember this season, these fans and the Bay Arena. Always a Warrior, thank you,” Nemanja Bjelica wrote on instagram.
