Alberto Abalde will miss the upcoming FIBA EuroBasket (September 1-18), the Basketball Federation of Spain announced.
Abalde is dealing with an injury and will not be ready on time for the tournament. Santiago Yusta will also leave the training camp.

Following the two players’ departure, the 16-man roster is as follows:
Dario Brizuela, Lorenzo Brown, Quino Colom, Jaime Fernandez, Rudy Fernandez, Usman Garuba, Fran Guerra, Juancho Hernangomez, Willy Hernangomez, Sergio Llull, Xabi Lopez-Arostegui,Juan Nunez, Joel Parra, Jaime Pradilla, Sebas Saiz and Yankuba Sima
After splitting victories with Greece (1-1), Spain will complete its preparation for the EuroBasket with two games vs Lithuania next week (August 16-18). They will then face Iceland (August 24) and the Netherlands (August 27).
Spain will travel to Tbilisi in late August to take on hosts Georgia, Montenegro, Bulgaria, Turkey and Belgium in Group A.
