Olympiacos announced the signing of former Monmouth guard George Papas to a two-year deal. The former Monmouth Hawks guard averaged 14.9 points, 3.0 assists, 5,4 rebounds, and 1.4 steals in his last year in the NCAA.
Papas’ greek passport was the key for this move, as he’s expected to receive more time in the Greek Basket League. This will be the first experience for the 24-year-old outside NCAA,and he will play in Europe and the EuroLeague.
