The New York Knicks and the Utah Jazz have re-engaged in trade talks for Donovan Mitchell, according to Shams Charania of The Athletic.
The two teams discussed the possibility of a deal centered around the All-Star guard, but there has been no progress yet.

The Knicks have made it clear they want to land Donovan Mitchell, but hurdles toward a deal still remain.
New York and Utah initially engaged in talks during the NBA Summer League in mid-July. With no signinficant progress, talks were paused for almost a month.
Now, with six weeks left until the start of training camp, the two franchises have re-engaged in talks, aiming to strike a deal soon.
Donovan Mitchell still has four years and $134,8M left in his current contract with the Utah Jazz.
