Serbia currently is at 1-3 in Group I and has to defeat both Greece (August 25) and Turkey (August 28) to maintain its chances to qualify for the Basketball World Cup.
On the other hand, Greece (3-1) will need one win to remain in a position of strength to advance to Basketball World Cup. The Greeks will host Belgium (August 28) following their trip to Belgrade.
Following the end of the Qualifiers, the two national teams will travel to Prague and Milano, espectively, for the group stage of the EuroBasket. Both Greece and Serbia are among the favorites for the gold medal.
