Ty Lue hasn’t made a decision yet on who the starting point guard of the Los Angeles Clippers will be this season.
The head coach of the Clippers has to choose between Reggie Jackson and John Wall, but he will take that decision during the training camp.
“It’s gonna be open competition between him and Reggie and just kinda see what makes sense, who fits right with the first unit, who fits right with the second unit, and then you know how I close games: whoever is playing the best is gonna finish the game.
They’re both on the same page, they understand that both of them are great players and so whichever one makes sense for our team to be successful, that’s what we’re gonna go with,” Tyronn Lue told Tomer Azarly of Clutchpoints.
With Reggie Jackson and John Wall in the lineup, the Clippers will have a star duo in their backcourt line, as they have their sights set on returning to title contention this season.
"We stack up with the best. If we’re healthy, we’re gonna be one of the teams that’s gonna have a real shot at winning the championship."
